We Are Mobile!

Ok, so I'm a little late on posting things but...WE'RE MOBILE!
Yes...BOTH twins are now crawling. Jonah has been scooting around like a little frog for over a month while his brother just sat pretty sucking his thumb taking it all in. Well, let me tell you, that boy decided that he was going to give his big brother a run for his money and he can CRAWL. He goes on all fours and sometimes I swear it looks like he's gonna get up and walk! He even can make a little bridge with his hands and feet. He started creeping along the furniture...and he is DETERMINED to get out of any place that we stick him! We bought an octagonal gate and jerry rigged set it up along our couch to give the couch to give them a little more room but we have to have a bunch of pillows or the baby gate between the couches. Well, the other day he figured out how to climb on top of them (and they were high!) and when he crawled to the top he did a somersault down to the bottom. I have a feeling he will be the one we are in the ER the most with (won't that be something to look forward to?!)
So, check out a little glimpse of the two of them crawling. Of course, I can never quite catch them coming at me to see their faces...they're just to fast!

So at 10 months, what else can they do that's new? Jonah waves and says hi! Noah drinks from a straw cup! I hope Jonah will pick this up soon as well so that we can get rid of bottles like we did with Elijah. They are getting so big! Their personalities grow every day. They get bumps and bruises frequently from knocking each other in the head with toys and Noah enjoys pulling Jonah's hair but overall they get along pretty well together. Of course, add Elijah into the bunch and it's a bunch of wrestling and rolling around on the floor, and tickling and laughing hysterically.

Elijah...well...what can I say about Elijah other than he is hilarious. He went with Jake to the pet store the other day to get mice to feed our snake. Yes. I said snake. This is a newer addition to our house. It is an unnamed gopher snake that Jake found at a desert excursion he went to and decided to keep. I do not mind him however I made it very clear that I was NOT going to care for him at all...EVER.  So back to my story...Jake took him to the pet store which does not sell feed mice...only pet mice. So before they went in he questioned Elijah to be sure he wouldn't be "telling on" him that they would be feeding the mouse to the snake. So Jake rehearsed him and Elijah was planning on saying he was getting a pet mouse. Well, in picking out the mouse he completely forgot to say his "line". They got in the car and he told Jake, "Daddy, I gotfor to tell them I gonna get a pet mouse!" Gotfor? What? Poor kid mixes up a ton of two syllable words. It used to be just motorcycle (cyclemotor) but now he actually gets that right. It's cute though. He sure can talk your ear off!

Another thing with Elijah. He is trying to pull his "hospital" card. Anytime he wants something or is in trouble he brings up how he was in the hospital. I don't know how exactly he thinks that's going to work for him (to my knowledge it never has) but you can't blame the kid for trying. He is one smart cookie!

In closing, you may see some new links on my blog. I have decided that there are a lot of giveaways and sweepstakes in the cyberworld and I want to take advantage of "trying" for them. Some of the links are blogs that frequently have giveaways and looked somewhat interesting at first glance. I hope to maybe blog stalk them when I have more time (I know...who am I kidding?).
