Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas (even though belated) from the Baldwin Bunch.Christmas morning is the greatest...especially when you get the toys that you want!

First Haircuts!

Ok, as much as I dreaded it bc I love running my fingers through their hair...it had to be done. The long hair had to go. It was becoming a mess.

Before the cut...it was a mop.

 After...it's nice and clean cut. Ok...not the greatest picture...but you get the idea. Oh. And the gate was NOT by the tree a minute before this picture was taken. The stinkers pushed it over.

Noah...curls. NOOOO!!! Don't cut the sweet little baby curls!Ok. I guess it looks cute. But I still miss my curls :)

On the move twins=EEK! moments

For those of you with kids, did you ever have a freak out episode? Like, when you turn around you find out that your 15 month old is now standing on the stepstool, precariously leaning over and about to start getting into the dinner that you are so carefully preparing? Hmmm. If not. It's SOOO fun! {ha, ha} Heart pounding....lump in your throat...NOOOOO!!!!!

Yep... I had that moment the other day. I was making dinner (obviously) and was washing a few dishes while the boys were playing with their toy magnets on the fridge. I turned around to find this. Only...he was about a foot farther away from the counter...I pushed the stepstool closer and yelled to Elijah to get the camera...I had to document this.

I know you all had to have moments like this. Fess up. I know you have Clarinda! Dawson probably gave you a dozen heart attacks! I thought Noah was going to be the one to do that for me. I was extremely surprised to find that it was Jonah. I guess this won't be my first. Elijah just never did anything...he was so...good...hmmm... This must be why we decide to have more children {chuckle, chuckle}.

I am in love with a cloth!

As odd as it may sound, I have found a new love...and it's a cloth! I have been battling cleaning my house for a long time. Pretty much since Elijah was born but especially once the twins were born. Well, my friend Clarinda has introduced me to something that has helped immensely. Norwex. Her mom sells it. Here is her link.

Basically it's a microfiber cloth that has silver in it so it has antibacterial properties. And it cleans like a dream. Basically I used the enviro cloth and the window cloth and was able to clean both of my bathrooms and kitchen with those only (minus the floors and toilet bowl).  Because there aren't any chemicals I can give Elijah the cloth to clean off the table and chairs. It's amazing. I love it. The funny thing is that even though I have tried to share how awesome the cloths are, it seems a lot of people are a little apprehensive about it. I have to admit I was a little skeptical as well...I mean...where's the cleaning product? Come on this couldn't really work right? Well..I used the cloths...now I'm a believer. 

I feel like I am starting to get my house in order...and it's a wonderful feeling!

Not only did I get the house clean, but we were able to get the dresser we had bought fixed, put up and ALL the boys clothes put away in it. Now their rooms are in order as well. YAY!

Shamrock Farms

Since Elijah was born we have had an annual Christmas tradition...going to Shamrock Farms for their holiday tour. We always have loads of fun. We even get to play in the snow!

I am looking forward to next year! Elijah's already asking when we can go again!
