Five Months
I can't believe it. We are 5 months old! We've been battling so much sickness! First bronchiolitis because of some random respiratory virus and then RSV. Augh. It's so hard when you have older kids and a baby because the older kids just have a cold and yet Oliver became reliant on breathing treatments and wasn't eating well. Poor little dude. He is starting to feel a bit better though so that's good.

My Baby Ollie
My little Ollie. He's so cute. He's wearing one of the few outfits that I had saved from when Elijah was a baby.
Awe. Look at him with Molly.
Another outfit I saved. So cute. I just want to hug him.

Downton Abbey Themed Surprised Birthday
I have the best husband ever. Talk about a surprise birthday party.
I wasn't sure what we were going to do for my birthday. To be honest, I didn't really care. I feel frumpy. I'm sleep deprived. I'm battling depression. You know...things just aren't the best right now. I just really wanted to hide. But Jake said he was going to take me out for my birthday so I tried to make myself presentable. He told me to drop the kids off at his mom's house and he would come pick me up from there after work.
When I got there I was given a beautiful bouquet of flowers, a box with some jewelry and a new dress to wear. I put them on and Jake showed up with some shoes and decked out in a dapper suit. Obviously, by the dress, I realized we would be going somewhere with a 1920's feel.
Little did I know, we were going home to our house where we were greeted by our friends for a surprise Downton Abbey themed birthday party.
Jake had the party catered so nobody had to fuss over food.
He even got special champagne glasses and came up with Downton themed drinks.
What an amazing surprise. We had so much fun. It was great to see everyone dress up and take the time to come and celebrate my birthday. I am truly blessed.

Oily Party
Today I was very blessed to see one of my very best friends, Charity. We met while working at Cook's Dairy Farm back in 1998. She is the one who introduced me to having a personal relationship with Christ and for that I am eternally grateful.
A little over a year ago she introduced me to something else. Essential oils.
Charity has been sharing Young Living Essential oils for a while now due to her having amazing results with her family's overall wellness. I started on the journey as well. I got a bit interrupted when i was pregnant because I was so sick that even good smells made me want to throw up. Thankfully, I don't have to worry about this now and am trying to start my family on the right path again.
As a surprise, Charity came out to see me and throw me an informative essential oil party. It was amazing. I learned so much information. We had tea and infused oil goodies like peppermint brownies and fennel biscotti. SO GOOD! NOM NOM!! It was so wonderful to see her and her family. She has 3 boys that are about our boys age. They had a blast playing together. I never would have imagined that the two of us would have had ALL BOYS.
I'm so thankful that I have her as a resource to learning how to use oils to help out my family.
