BOY! Jake and I went to our ultrasound on Friday and we are expecting another healthy boy. I thought I would be disappointed but I am not. I am excited that he is healthy and am looking forward to meeting him. We did have some disappointed brothers but they will get over it. Especially once they get to meet him.

Anniversary
Jake and I celebrated our 12th anniversary on Saturday. I am so blessed to have such a great hubby. We decided to share our special day and went to Mimi's Cafe to get a late brunch. They serve breakfast (YUM!) til 3pm on weekends. I got some delicious strawberries and cream waffles. Mmmmm. Noah and Jonah got pancakes shaped like puppies and Jonah will not stop talking about them. He wants me to make them. It helps that pancakes are his favorite.
For dinner I saved some money and made it myself. Crab legs, shrimp cocktail, corn on the cob and red potatoes. Yummy!!!
New Van
So with us expecting our FOURTH child, we quickly realized that we were going to have to upgrade at least one of our cars to something with more seats. After much debate about SUV vs. Mini Van...the Mini Van won! Overall, it just had too many features and convenience for less price then the SUV. So while it may have been nice to have gotten a Dodge Durango... a Dodge Grande Caravan suits us much better right now. Let me tell you. The kids LOVE it. The first day that we had it, they were ready to take Elijah to school at 7:10 because they could not wait to get in it again. It was quite funny to me as we are usually just barely getting out the door on time (I have NO idea how we are going to do this with a baby).

BOY!
He's cute and everything looks good! The boys are a bit disappointed but I am sure that they will love him to death!

New Addition
So two weeks ago I sent Jake out for dinner and Twizzlers (I have MAJOR cravings now) and this is what he came home with.
Ok. So that's not exactly true. I did send him out for dinner and Twizzlers, however, he did at least text me the picture first and call me to see what I thought about her. We had been planning to get a dog before we found out that we were going to add a baby to our family. Jake fell in love, and he was with Jonah, our little animal lover...so it was hard to say no. He's not usually a Shi Tzu fan so I knew this must be love.
She is just a ball of fluff. It's hard to tell which end is up.
But she likes to get into mischief like all puppies.
Mud is her favorite.
She loves to play. She pees on my carpet and chews my shoes, but she's lovable. There is something to be said about pet therapy. When I get a little down, I can just take her into my lap and she rolls over for me to rub her little belly and then licks my neck. She loves her family and really fits in. I just hope we can get her trained soon!
Don't mind the mess. We have been cleaning things up and getting things ready for storage so that we can bring in all the baby supplies....because as you know...babies bring a lot of stuff!!!
Luau
A few weeks ago Elijah's school put on a little luau to have some fun and earn some money for the school. One of the things that they had was a bounce water slide. The kids LOVED it.
We got Eeggees for a treat. Yummy!
We also played some more games. Each grade had some sort of little game to play.
Of course, bounce houses are always fun too.
Overall, I think the boys had a lot of fun.
Another Science Museum trip
A few weeks after our first trip, we had the opportunity to go again. This time, Elijah had the day off of school and could go with us, which made him so happy.
Noah
Elijah
Elijah and Anneliese
Jonah
After the museum fun, we went to lunch and had ice cream. The kids have so much fun playing together. Jonah and Shiloh picked some flowers because they were having a "kid wedding". Way too funny. And Noah was sad because Anneliese took a liking to Elijah instead of him. Oh no. I am in for trouble when they get to true dating age!
