In a perfect world I would havefour knocks on the door.
The first a cat lover who has seen Kitty in the window and has fallen in love and wants to take her to a new, more loving home.
The second, the furniture guy delivering our new bedroom furniture but minus the bill so I don't have to pick up extra shifts to pay for it.
The third, a landscaper, wanting to increase his skills and business offering to clean up our front yard, fix the broken watering system, trim the tree in the backyard and take away all the dead, rottin, firehazaard limbs from the backyard. Feeling extra gracious he throws in adding the backyard watering system and a few plants...he even knows a guy who would volunteer his services to put some paving stone down.
The fourth, a maid. You knew this was coming right? A lovely maid who wants to donate her time to someone who is just shy of going crazy over the filth that has steadily been growing over the last ten months. Someone who thinks the matted down goo on the kitchen floor is a challenging obstacle that leads to personal satisfaction and self worth.
Who am I kidding? Guess that will only happen in my dreams. Off to tackle (some of) the kitchen floor. Gotta do it in rounds...not sure what number this is...havenmt seen the whole thing clean in awhile!
