Park Play

One benefit to living in Arizona is the gorgeous weather that we have right now. Who can complain of 70-80 degrees with a nice breeze and beaming sun when the rest of the country is stuck with rain or snow, tornados and down right nasty weather? Not me! I will be taking full advantage of it as I know it will soon turn into 115 degree fry-an-egg-on-the-cement kinda weather. That being said, I have been trying to walk the boys to our neighborhood park a few times a week. We've even packed a lunch a few times! The boys LOVE it. Elijah loves to run around everywhere and zoom down the slide. Jonah loves to pull up pieces of grass and Noah just squeals in delight at the wind.

Here's Jonah playing with the green (for now) grass. Oh how I miss having a soft grassy yard to run around barefoot in!

Noah beaming at the camera. If only I had the ability to capture his little happy screams at the wind. He is mesmerized by it. It's so sweet to see.
My little cowboy full of energy! Boys sure do have a whole lot of fun!

Exhaustion

After waking up feeling as though I could barely move, having Jake's Mom and Dad draag 5children along to take me to the nearby urgent care and then to the ER followed by waiting with a slew of characters (including a twenty something guy with a needle imbedded in his arm from shooting up) I was finally tended to. Labs were drawn, an IV started andsome much needed pain medicine was received as by this time the slowly evolving back pain had evolved into something raging and causing me to do nothing else but rock back and forth in agony. Narcotics can be a wonderful thing when used appropriately! With the back pain, lethargy, fatigue, muscle and joint soreness, headache, low grade fever and thirst I thought it was dehydration, the flu, a kidney infection...anything other than the diagnosis I received. Exhaustion. Really? I got a litre of fluid and was sent home being told to work out my sleeping schedule better and take a vacation. I left with my discharge instructions on osteoarthritis (the only explanation they had for the pain) and insomnia thinking "Ha! A vacation, who are you kidding. Sleep schedule? I have 3 kids under 3 and woork full time 12 hr NIGHTS! Lets be realistic." I  then went home to sleep to be woken up at 4 am bc apparently a giant spider lives under Elijah's bed. Next time I think I will tell them I hear voices or see dead people. Maybe then I will get some real rest.

New thought Noah's 4th tooth popped up and he promptly bit Jonah

Also, Elijah knows all his animal sounds...except a turkey. Elijah what's a turkey say. Response "I'm a turkey"

Oh, and by the way, I really don't hear voices or see dead people...just thought I should clarify. there may be someone as niave as myself reading and start to worry about me. Don't I'm fine. Just suffer from some dry humor right now.

8 Months Old

It's hard to believe it but my babies are 7 months old! What?!?! It is truly mind boggling! They are doing well, despite the fact the Jonah STILL has an ear infection! We are on yet another different antibiotic and are hoping that the third time is a charm. Measurement wise they are both 18 pounds and 26inches long. We are wearing 6-9month and 9month clothes...size 2/3 Pampers. Wow! Noah still just has the bottom 2 teeth and Jonah..well, he's toothless :)  The boys love to play with their big brother and have even started (one at a time) taking a bath with him. Noah enjoys this the best. He SPLASHES like a crazy fish! He is my water boy for sure! Noah enjoys sitting to take the world in..Jonah loves his belly. He scoots around to get wherever he wants and has decided that Elijah's toys are the best...doesn't matter that there are little pieces (YIKES!)

Elijah is doing wonderful at going on the potty ALL DAY LONG! He still wears a pullup/diaper at night but that's okay. In fact, when we went to pick up Jake the other day I wanted him to wear a pull up for the long ride and I was yelled at..."I GO PEE PEE ON THE POTTY! I NO NEED A PAHYUP!" Ok little dude. And yes, he did NOT have an accident...he went on the potty like a big boy! YEAH!

As always...short..sweet..to the point! Later!
