My plans didn't go quite as well as I'd hoped. Wednesday was an absolutely awful day. I woke up feeling absolutely awful with a runny nose, headache, and a backache that was terrible. Jake told me to get an hour massage at the chiropractor and get adjusted...so I did. It felt really nice but unfortunately by that point my physical pain had affected me emotionally as well so I don't think I enjoyed it as much as I should have. Thankfully I felt better on Thursday so Jake's Mom came over and helped me get my house in order. It is now clean and hopefully will stay that way. I wasn't able to come up with a schedule yet but hopefully after this weekend (I work the next three days..sigh) I can get a daily routine planned.
I've been in such a rotten mood lately that I haven't really posted any new pictures. Here they are..I particularly like the one of Elijah smiling. What a cutie! He likes to suck on anything...his hands..our fingers...his toy...whatever he can get his hands on and in his mouth! He likes to play with Daddy and enjoys going around the house on his shoulders..a new outlook on things I guess. He especially likes to look in the mirror...and drool all over Daddy's hair...and of course pull it. Daddy doesn't mind too much though...he just loves his little guy.
I haven't posted our good deals lately either. Has anyone else found some great stuff at your stores? I've gotten GREAT deals on name brand clothes at our Marshalls. We've gotten pretty much anything you name..shirts, pants, belts, ties, underwear, pajamas, shoes...for $1-$10. Yes, we spent quite a bit but in the end we spent an average of $5 an item...and we're talking NICE items..like Johnston & Murphy shoes and Guess Jeans. Who can beat getting a tie for $2 or a Fossil belt for $3? I also found some good deals at Target....scrapbook stuff, a $60 Cephalon roasting pan for $15...crazy.
Anyway..I need to go..Elijah is upset. I did want to mention one more thing. Pray for Jake's cousin's Angela and Chad. They are expecting TWINS! She's already had a difficult pregnancy before and been on bedrest and felt terrible so expecting multiples may add a little more complication. I'm sure they would love the added prayers. I know I think of them often. Bye for now!

Don't get discouraged because the plan didn't work. Just keep trying to find something that works. I am going on 14 years and still trying to find a plan that works. I always wish I could come up with a schedule to get house work done, but I quickly found out that children are demanding and they need to come first. It does get frustrating but I am realizing that sometimes it is ok if my house is not in order. There will be a day when the child is gone and then I can finally have things the way I want them or would like them. Who knows by then it might not even matter anymore.
I will continue to pray for you.
Love ya,
Aunt Connie
