Last Friday Elijah turned 8 months. Hard to believe it! He's somewhere between 20 1/2 and 21 pounds and 28 inches long. He can say Mama, Dada, and Papa, among other babblings. He plays peek-a-boo and LOVES music. He moves his hands like he is the conductor. A future song leader maybe? We are still awaiting the top teeth but the bottom ones are really coming in! He likes to be able to eat things himself so he's been getting cheerios, toast, pieces of banana, and some soft cooked carrots. He's a happy baby and loves to be cuddled. He's starting to throw little fits when he doesn't get his way. He is stingy with his kisses but gives hugs out pretty easily. He would still much rather take a nap with Mama then be in his own crib which works out okay when I have to work or worked the night before. Sleep is always good when you work nights! He's a joy and we love him to pieces. As you can see he's growing just fine. Look at those little thighs! He's very ticklish there and just bursts out laughing when Mama gets him! SQUEEZE the little man!

so does he crawl yet? I can't believe how big & adorable he gets everytime you post pictures. I haven't seen him in months & they change so fast. We should get together soon!
he is growing so fast! Enjoy every minute. Will is almost 2! It's crazy, but also so fun to watch all the new things they do each day. Thanks for blogging pics! he is soooo cute! Oh and Happy Birthday. Hope it was a good one and you got some R and R! Oh wait, a husband and baby...never mind!
Hey Elizabeth! Yes, it is funny how different all the babies are! Elijah doesn't crawl but has teeth and Madden crawls but has no teeth! I think Brooklyn has them all beat she is moving all around AND has teeth! Elijah is a doll! I love his eyes and all that dark hair!
